YOUR
CONTRIBUTIONS INVITED
Donate cash: The cost of community-based
disaster preparedness and risk management in South
and Southeast Asia is not expensive but funds are
scarce.
It can take as little as $100
for a village in Bangladesh, Nepal, India or Cambodia
to be organised to prepare for regular disaster which
will protect livelihoods and save lives.
For $ 500 we can organise training of village/disadvantaged
community leaders in skills and follow-up. But
for as little as $10 we can produce materials for
neo-literates, or contribute towards the cost of staff
training. Please send any amount you can to
help our efforts we will send a receipt and acknowledge
your contribution on our webpages.
Your contribution will be put
to good use in the cause of risk management, and none
of it will go to administrative costs. Send
donation of any amount to:

Suggest
opportunities: AZEECON is a capacity-building
and quality-assurance circle. If the AZEECON
members can gain access to training or exposure to
good practice, or to relevant materials or to relevant
expertise or ideas, we are interested. Our resource
are very limited but we invite you to suggest and
offer opportunities which can help our work collectively
or of individual staff and partners.
Buy and
use our publications: See Disaster Preparedness
Materials page on this site. Special rates.
Build
links with universities and colleges:
All AZEECON members are busy implementing NGOs. We
have neither staff, nor resources nor capacity to
research or analyse risk as we would like. In
some case we can facilitate interested researchers
to enable further study, or it can be done long range
using modern techniques, and with additional data
Make connections:
pass our website details to others, request them to
add this link to their website
Offer
us your feedback and constructive suggestions:
Later we will add a Guest book but for now, send any
ideas or suggestions to the contact mail@lwf.org.np.
Thanks
for your interest
