RDRS Bangladesh has planted and helped local community organisations manage over 6,500 kilometres of roadside trees. A major homestead tree planting programme have also been promoted in NW Bangladesh. RDRS is also the inventor - in 1980 - of the treadle pump, low cost appropriate irrigation, and has pioneered intensive integrated homestead farming in Northwest Bangladesh
